About Us

Saddleworth Show is organised jointly by the Rotary Clubs of Saddleworth and Oldham Metro. The main purpose is to provide an enjoyable weekend’s entertainment, but it also has some more serious purposes.

Firstly, it provides a show-case for local businesses, craft producers and charities, as well as bringing a significant number of visitors into the area, benefiting local businesses.

​

Secondly, for the Rotary Clubs its purpose is to raise funds to be dispersed among deserving causes, which may be local, national or international.

​

ALL of the profits made by the show are used this way, with no administrative costs charged by Rotarians.

​

The WelliFest and Saddleworth Show Organising Committee on behalf of Saddleworth and Oldham Metro Rotary Clubs, would like to express a big thank you to all our supporters and visitors who made our events such a huge success.

​

A grand total in the region of £30,000 is normally raised for distribution to charitable and good causes. 

Not bad for two enjoyable community events run entirely by volunteers.
